I'm a faithful Christian, I want to travel around the world one day My favourite website is: www.mylifeisaverage.com , it's very funny. I know that life is no coincidence, nothing is a coincidence. I love watching dramas even though some situations are obvious, on how they end. I very, very hard to impress, so if you do impress me, you did a very great job. I love singing and being a behind the scenes person.I don't want to be in the magic, I want to make the magic.

SNOW DAY!

For all people who don't live in Toronto you probably don't know that we didn't have a snow day for a couple of years. I didn't have one all my life, so more than 10 years and Scarborough is a place that rarely shuts down schools just for snow because .... we're Canadian, snow is second nature. But this storm is just so wild. There's a feeling of -22º C (Which is around 7.2ºF).

I woke up this morning feeling all lousy because I didn't know if school was cancelled because of the storm. My best guess was it wasn't because we rarely close down because of snow. My dad on the underhand just wanted me to check. I lied there in my bed for 10 mins waiting and waiting and waiting. Then I couldn't help it anymore and went on the computer. I was about to click on to the TDSB (Toronto District School Board) website when I heard the t.v. announce, "All TDSB school buses are cancelled but all classes are OPENED." WHAT!!! I slammed the mouse down and felt like cursing, but didn't. I brushed my teeth while my dad just looked at me because he knew I was mad. Then my dad quietly said, "I could get a break for you, if you want. I don't mind." My mom isn't home because she went to Hong Kong to celebrate Chinese new year with her family. If she heard my dad say this she'll go bizarre!
I told my dad that if I had to go I'll go. I didn't want to be a bad student or those spoiled, only child kids that always gets what they want. =P But I was really disappointed because I got my hopes up.

I went downstair to get breakfast and ate my breakfast slowly as my dad just paced back and fourth around the house. Then he said goodbye to be and headed out the door to work. I prayed that he'll have a safe drive there. Then, silly as I am, I prayed that there would be a snow day. Guess what? A good 10 mins later, on the t.v. it was announced that there IS a snow day HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I quickly checked again to see if it was true (didn't want to raise my hopes again ) and it was true! I thank the LORD for saying yes to my prayers and started laughing. Sometimes GOD does the most funniest things. *sigh* I hope you guys are enjoying winter to.
Peace Out,
BLACKIRIS.

P.S. Yes, I am typing this blog at 7:26am in the morning. I was really excited about this day.
